Sweet Sugar-Free Recipes This Summer

Nothing tastes better than a cool, sweet treat during the hot summer months. Most desserts and snacks are loaded with sugar which can damage your teeth. Luckily, we have our favorite tasty sugar-free treats for you to test out this summer. Choco-Peanut Butter Bowl

  • cup lowfat cottage cheese
  • 1 tbsp flax meal
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (make sure it contains whey)
  • Splenda

Combine ingredient together in a cereal bowl and stir until you have a smooth texture. Makes 1 serving. Chocolate Energy Bites

  • 1 1/2 cups oats
  • 1/2 cup ground flax seed
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon,
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp raw honey
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup dark mini chocolate chips

Mix together ingredients in a bowl. Using a spoon, scoop 1-inch balls on a wax lined cookie sheet. Freeze or refrigerate until serving. 2 balls = 1 serving. Berry Parfait:

  • 2 cups low fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups of mixed berries
  • 1 tsp of flax seed
  • 1 scoop of protein powder

Mix ingredients together in 4 containers or jars. Refrigerate until serving. Makes 4 servings. Peanut Butter Ice Cream:

  • 4 Cups of Ice
  • 2 scoops of Peanut Butter Chocolate Flavored Protein Powder (can also use dehydrated peanut butter like PB2)
  • 2 TbspNatural Peanut Butter (Chunky)
  • 2 Tbsp Cacao Nibs
  • 1 cupUnsweetened Almond Milk (can also use chocolate)

Mix ingredients together in a blender and freeze for 1 hour before serving. To thicken even more include 1/2 of a banana in the mixture. Makes 1 serving.
